Tutoring all levels of math plus various sciences, I enjoy enlightening students as these subjects did for me. I feel the world makes sense through algebra and math, which guided me into the sciences. Chemistry and astronomy turn on my light bulb the most. When tutoring, I am relaxed, focused, and ready to help the student strive to reach academic goals. I help with homework and prepare them for big tests or the SAT. Professionalism and knowledge of many subjects strengthen my tutoring ability. Each session has planned parts and we also create a study plan with me and for outside the session. I will lecture, explain core concepts, and talk about why the lesson is important. We spend time working out problems and creating examples that help with studying. I am easygoing and take time to see the student's approach. If needed, I help rewire this. In 2008, I earned a B.A. in Natural Sciences and Mathematics and in 2012, I graduated from Temple University with an M.S. in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs. I'm also a pharmaceutical chemist and a Philly sports fanatic. In my downtime I also play video games and relax with my partner and 2 year old daughter.
